​The implementation of proper compliance protocols is critical for ensuring that your company is compliant with the U.S. Department of Labor's requirements.  This must be addressed whether you operate as a company of 1 person or 500+ employees and contractors.
  • PayRoll:  Structure your PayRoll system such that "Employees" are tracked as such and ensure that Taxes are withheld, Benefits assigned, and and Insurance coverage provided in accord with the Fair Labor Standards Act.  "Contractors" must be compensated according to separate processes.

  • Team-Building:  Build your team and ensure that daily work-flows are properly designed, implemented, and monitored in accord with standard Project Management practices.
 
  • Compensation and Benefits:  Compensate employees and contractors properly in order to ensure that you are capable of attracting and retaining top talent in accord with industry standards and in compliance with Federal and State law.
 
  • Time-Tracking:  Your employees may be classified as either "Hourly", "Salaried", "Exempt", "Non-Exempt" (i.e. subject to overtime requirements), and much more.  Track time accurately, and ensure that these documents are retained according to best practices for the U.S. Department of Labor.​​
  • Medical, Dental, Life, and AD&D Insurance:  Medical benefits may be provided as an incentive for employees to join or remain with the company, but they may also be mandated by the Federal or State government in which your company operates.  Administer these benefits accordingly.
 
  • COBRA Compliance:  Medical Benefits that are provided during employment must also be available to staff for a period of time after the termination of employment.  You must ensure that your policies are compliant with Federal Law.

  • FMLA Compliance:  Once employees have been employed for a specified period of time, certain personal life circumstances such as illness or pregnancy require guarantees and assurances of employment to the staff member.  You must ensure that your company is tracking Hire Dates, Hours Worked, and other important information in order to verify that your staff members are eligible for and receive benefits provided by Federal Law.

  • ADA Compliance:  The Americans with Disabilities Act provides specified assurances and guarantees to candidates and employees during the Hiring process and throughout employment.  Your company must have policies and practices that conform with Federal Law.

  • UI Compliance:  Your company may be required to pay Unemployment Insurance, and witholdings may be applicable for employees.  This ensures that lay-offs do not adversely impact the employee and the broader economy.

  • Worker's Compensation Compliance:  Worker's Compensation Insurance may be required for your company in order to provide employees with protection in the event of an injury at a work-site.

  • EEOC Compliance:  Equal Opportunity Employment is Federal Law, and company hiring practices, work-place conditions, and termination processes must comply with several mandates.
